New Vessel of AW Shipping (VLGC) entered the water
It was a significant moment when a new Very Large Gas Carrier (VLGC) of AW Shipping, a shipping joint venture set up by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Wanhua Chemical Group has entered in the water on Wednesday, Jan 12, 2022, as announced by Mr. Abdulkareem Al Masabi - CEO ADNOC Logistics and Services on Social Media Platform.
Congratulating the team and everyone involved, Mr. Abdulkareem Al Masabi updated that the vessel will begin its sea trials in April, ahead of expected delivery in late May 2022.
AW Shipping is a joint venture between ADNOC Group and Wanhua Chemical Group and has been developed to transport LPG and other petroleum products. AW Shipping further strengthens the collaboration between ADNOC and Chinese customers and partners and builds on the deep-rooted bilateral relations between China and the UAE. The JV underscores ADNOC’s focus on value-creating deals and will support the delivery of its 2030 smart growth strategy.
